Bridges
Like dental implants, bridges are used to replace missing teeth. It is called what it is because it literally forms a “bridge” across the span of missing teeth and is anchored by remaining teeth on both sides of the hole.
Bridges are not removable, therefore the fit is important both for comfort and to prevent any further decay or tooth loss. Because bridges are made off-site, you will be supplied with a temporary bridge until yours is ready. If you practice good oral hygiene and visit with your dentist regularly, your bridge can last from 10-20 years.
